Planned number of participants: 30 students will be admitted.

Fees:
Full period 30,000 yen (Accommodations and meals not included)
This charge includes two times composition lessons (45mins for each) and free admission for all concerts during the festival except ones with meal service. All concerts’ rehearsals are open to workshop students.
One day 5,000 yen (Accommodations and meals not included.
A composition lesson (45mins) might be given with an additional fee of 10,000 yen, although the priority is in the full period students. Free admission for all concerts on the day except ones with meal service. All concerts’ rehearsals are open to workshop students on the day.

We also have a scholarship for motivated students in our workshop. Please check the requirements and conditions in the following explanation.

To Register: Fill out the application form and send it to the festival office below.The application form can be obtained from our website or through the festival office upon request.

Application Deadline: Just after we meet the demanded number of applicants. Final deadline is August 12, 2016.

Discount Fee for Scholarship Students:
For scholarship students, we discount full period fee down to 10,000 yen (accommodations and meals not included). If you wish to apply, required materials must reach our festival office no later than July 9,2016. We will select some scholarship students out of applicants. See requirements below.

Scholarship Students Application Requirements

Qualification of applicants
Open to composers of any nationality, age and residence.
He/she must have a strong interest in learning composition.
He/she must attend the 16th Takefu International Composition Workshop for full period or more than 5 days at the least.

Sending materials
Make entry by sending materials below.
1)Your own made 1 to 3 compositions. (Send 2 copies for each.)
2)Recorded CD or DVD of compositions above, if possible. (Send 2 copies for each.) Electronic music composition needs recorded material attached.
3)brief history of your experience on music (Educational background, studied history, seminars participation history, music work history and so on) written in A4 paper.
4)Contact information. (post address, name, telephone, e-mail address.)

The entry must be delivered by e-mail by July 8, 2016.
