Masterclass Applications Now Open!

20th Takefu International Summer Academy
Flute & Saxophone Masterclasses

As part of the Takefu International Music Festival 2026, masterclasses led by internationally renowned performers will be offered to support the development of young musicians. This is a rare opportunity to receive direct instruction from distinguished artists who have achieved outstanding success both as performers and educators.

Through close interaction with these musicians, participants will gain not only technical skills but also valuable insights into their artistic experience and musical philosophy. In addition to lessons, participants will have the opportunity to attend the instructors’ festival performances and learn from their artistry in a concert setting.

We warmly invite you to join the Takefu International Summer Academy!

Venue: Echizen City Cultural Center
Dates: Vary by course

We regret to inform you that, due to various circumstances, this year’s flute masterclass has been cancelled. Please note that all other events, including concerts, at the Takefu International Music Festival will proceed as scheduled. We sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations and for any inconvenience this may cause. We ask for your kind understanding. Takefu International Music Festival Board
