Planned Students: 30
Students can participate composition lessons by the work shop faculties (the priority is set for full period students). They are also allowed to enter all lectures, rehearsals and concerts (except concerts with meal service).
FeesFull period 30,000 yen  (This charge includes two times 45 mins composition lessons and a concert passport)
One Day 5,000 yen  (This charge includes a concert pass on the day. A 45 mins composition lesson will be given for additional fee of 10,000 yen.)
Application:Fill out the application form and send it to the festival office below. The application form can be obtained from here or through the festival office upon request. No application submitted after it reaches the limit (30). Final Deadline: 23th August (Wed), 2017

【Composition Workshop Scholarship】
We offer a scholarship for the 17th Takefu International Composition Workshop between the 10th September and 17th September, 2017 in Echizen city. Scholarship students acquire a 20,000 yen discount of the fee (students need to pay other costs by themselves).
If you want to become a scholarship student, please read the following description about the qualification and send required materials to the office of the Takefu International Music Festival Board. Then we will choose some scholarship students based on your materials.
We are looking forward to your application!
◎Qualification
Open to composers of any nationality, age and residence.
He/she must have a strong interest in learning composition.
He/she must attend the 17th Takefu International Composition Workshop for full period or at least 5 days.
◎Required Materials
Make entry by sending materials below.
1.1 – 3 pieces of own composition (2 copies for each)
2.CD or DVD of above compositions (2 copies for each), if possible. Sound examples must be attached for compositions of electronic music
3.Brief biography as musician/composer such as educational background, schools, lessons, seminars and musical publications) in an A4 paper
4.Contact information (name, post address, telephone, e-mail address etc.)
Please note that these materials won’t be returned to you.
◎Entry Deadline
The entry must be delivered to the festival office by the 14th July (Fri) 2017.
◎Announcement of Result
The screening will be held in the late of July and the result will be notified in order.
